Community Involvement

The Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB) is completing a comprehensive planning study looking at the future of the terminal building, its facilities and improvements to the overall passenger experience. At the conclusion of the planning process, the Airport will have a comprehensive plan to meet the evolving needs of commercial passengers and users.

Please note that the alternatives developed as part of this planning study are conceptual in nature and are intended to support long-term planning discussions. While some alternatives may appear to show a high level of detail, they are not final designs and should not be interpreted as specific construction plans. The concepts were developed to help evaluate the general space, layout, and facility size requirements needed to provide an acceptable level of service for an airport similar in size and activity to Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport. Additional planning, engineering, environmental review, stakeholder coordination, and funding analysis would be required before any specific project could move forward.

Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC)

A Stakeholder Advisory Committee (SAC) has been developed to serve in an advisory role throughout the planning process and represent a wide array of stakeholders, including local government representatives, airport users, the business community, and community members. This committee will serve several important functions including representing the broad range of stakeholder groups; reviewing, understanding, and sharing project updates; and providing input on the project while serving as a voice of key stakeholders.
